Tara Preserve

Truly a golfer's paradise, the Tailfeather Home at Tara Preserve offers guests quick and easy access to one of the area's most pristine golf courses. The Preserve Golf Club at Tara is located just outside Bradenton and opened for play April 2001. This Ted McAnlis-designed course measures 7,000 yards from the back tees and plays to a par of 72. This course has somewhat of a linksy feel and places a premium on club selection, accuracy and above all, strategy. Towering oaks, a variety of native palms and slash pines provide a natural frame which spans 548 acres. Streams and creeks meander throughout the community, feeding the many wetland preserves.
